Read a sensor's QR code¶
The QR code on an OpenTac sensor encodes its taxel grid, connector assignments and electrode geometry. This page decodes that information, displays the reconstructed layout and exports a manifest.json for readout. Decoding runs in your browser. See Recover a manifest from the QR for the fields that can be recovered and those omitted from the code.
Examples¶
The following example designs illustrate complete grids, irregular layouts and different electrode patterns:
- 9 × 9 patch: 81 taxels, 2 mm pitch, a full grid.
- L-shape: 405 taxels on a 27 × 27 grid with 324 empty positions.
- YUBI finger pad: 165 taxels, 3 mm pitch, a stepped outline.
- Square, 0.5 mm electrode gap: a non-default electrode pattern.
- Large array: 900 taxels on the 60-pin connector.
